About Us

Strydom Timber Construction (Pty) Ltd trading as “DeckedOut” was established by Herman Strydom in 2013. The Company is growing in strength and is increasingly recognised as a specialist in its field.

Herman places high value on service with integrity and DeckedOut is well known by clients and professionals as a Company which plans properly, adhere the commencement and completion dates and gets it right the first time – attention to detail is a huge strength.

Herman personally has more than 30 years’ experience and under his guidance his team delivers quality products and operates with integrity.

DeckedOut caters for the homeowner, medium and large contractors.

In excess of 350 structures have been successfully completed and our service is rated top quality all the clients - we will gladly provide references on request.  

Guarantee

All our work carries a 3 (three) year workmanship guarantee and a 5  (five) year material guarantee.

Material

We use SABS approved, H3 treated SA Pine for our structures and we clad in Garapa, Balau, Massaranduba, Ipe, Purple Heart, SA Pine etc. All our timber is from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified suppliers.

We only use stainless steel screws and in some instances galvanised metal brackets.

Deposit and Payment

We require a payment of minimum 50% of the project cost on acceptance of the quotation and the remaining balance on practical completion.
